'Elaine's Betty' introduced by Jim &
Elaine Smelley of Moss Point in 1996 won more awards in U.S. camellia shows
than any other plant recently
In second place (with one less award) was 'Melissa Anne' introduced in 1995 by the late
Dr. Legrand Audioun of Biloxi. Melissa Anne was uniquely honored by the American
Camellia Society as best white and best seedling recently.
